Under-15 national team cricketer dies in motorcycle accident

Sports Desk: Former BKSP student Shahriar Kabir Shubh died while undergoing treatment after being seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.

He died at the Neuroscience Hospital at around 4 am on Tuesday (March 18). Former Bangladesh cricketer Suhrawardy Shuvo made the announcement in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

He wrote on Facebook, ‘It is with great sadness that I inform everyone that Shahriar Kabir, a younger brother of Bangladesh U-15 cricket team injured in a bike accident, a resident of Jummapara, Rangpur, died at the Neuroscience Hospital at around 4 am today. Inna-lillah wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Funeral prayers will be held at Jummapara Karimiya Nurul Uloom Madrasa premises after Asr today and burial will be completed at Munsipara Cemetery InshaAllah !!

' Shuvo was a former cricketer of Rangpur district and division team, a former student of BKSP and a player of Bangladesh U-15 national cricket team and a student of Rangpur Cricket Academy.
