In Bogra, the ban on the movement of easy bikes in the city from Saturday

Bogra Representative: In order to control the traffic congestion ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, the entry of easybikes and fat wheeled autorickshaws has been banned in Bogra city from next Saturday, which will be announced in advance through miking on Thursday and Friday. Not only with this ban, the district police have taken several other important decisions before Eid to solve the uncontrolled traffic jam in Bogra city. This announcement was made in the discussion meeting of the district police held with the leaders of transport owners and labor organizations and the councilors of different wards of the municipality to control traffic congestion in the Bogra Police Superintendent's office on Wednesday morning.

Superintendent of Police (Promoted Additional DIG) Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty BPM PPM addressed the meeting presided over by Additional Superintendent of Police (Promoted Superintendent of Police) Abdur Rashid. Meanwhile, the Superintendent of Police said that Bogra is considered as the heart of North Bengal. Keeping Eid ahead, not only the people of 12 upazilas of Bogra but also the people of some surrounding districts come to this city for various needs starting from Eid shopping. Due to the pressure of extra people and vehicles, excessive traffic jams are created on the roads which the traffic department has to struggle to control.

However, as a result of taking various positive initiatives at this time every year, there is some relief on the roads, so this time, everyone should play a role in dealing with this problem with the collective participation of all. There is no lack of sincerity on the part of the district police in solving the traffic jam, but all those concerned with transport, public representatives and common people should also come forward with sincerity.

To give relief to the common people, this time the district police will be strict on the road to clear the traffic jam, said the leader of the district police. Additional Superintendent of Police (Promoted Superintendent of Police) Motahar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Sumon Ranjan Sarkar, President of Bogra District Bus, Minibus, Coach Transport Owners Association Shah Md Akhtaruzzaman also spoke in the meeting highlighting various important issues to be done before Eid. Duke, Executive President Taufiq Hasan Maina and General Secretary Aminul Islam, District Motor Workers Union President Abdul Hamid Mitul, Bogra Municipality 3rd Ward Councilor Tarun Kumar Chakraborty, 5th Ward Councilor Rezaul Karim D.

In the joint decision of all, it was decided that easybikes and fat wheeled auto-rickshaws will not enter the city from next Saturday, whose last border will be Dattabari intersection, PTI intersection, Seuzgari intersection and Jailkhana intersection. A warning was given in the meeting.

Besides, other decisions taken in the meeting are, ban on entry of big buses in the city from 8 am to 10 pm, arrangement to move the Falpatti of the station road of the city to another place and arrangement to keep CNGs in one line, make this road completely one-way after the renovation of the road from Baragola to Kathaltala is completed.

The meeting decided to increase traffic duty in front of Charmatha and Azizul Haque Colleges to prevent heavy vehicles/trucks from entering the city and control free entry and make two roads adjacent to Jaleshwaritala Kalimandi one-way. It was also informed in the meeting that besides the members of the district police, volunteers will also perform duties on the road to control the traffic jam. Above all, the people of Bogra from all walks of life are urged to play a conscious role in solving the traffic jam on behalf of the district police.
