Legal Action if Someone Demands any Payment in the car: Superintendent of Police Manikganj

The Superintendent of Police has announced to take all kinds of legal measures including extortion against anyone who demands any payment from any truck, pickup, CNG, three wheeler including any vehicle carrying daily goods. Manikganj District Police on Thursday (March 14) in Manikganj Shivaloy Upazila to control the price of goods.

Superintendent of Police Mohammad Ghulam Azad Khan, who was present as the chief guest of the discussion meeting at Paturia Ghat, said this in the meeting. Shibaloy police station officer in charge (OC) Md Abdur Rauf gave a speech in the chairmanship of Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Shibalaya Circle) Marufa Nazneen, Shibaloy Upazila Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Rezaur Rahman Khan Janus and others. The Superintendent of Police said that all the transport workers and goods carriers related to the ghat should not be harassed. Besides, the Highway Police and Naval Police have been instructed to be vigilant so that the transport carrying all the essential goods does not accept any kind of extortion.
