Diplomatic Correspondent: Strengthening cooperation between the United States and Bangladesh has led to a landmark achievement in cybersecurity and financial crime prevention, with authorities successfully recovering the country’s largest-ever cryptocurrency seizure.

‎According to officials, the operation resulted in the recovery of approximately $3.7 million in digital assets that had been fraudulently obtained from Bangladeshi citizens through cyber scams. The recovery was made possible through a combination of U.S. technical assistance, specialized training, and support from a U.S.-based blockchain firm OKX, which helped trace and identify the stolen funds on the blockchain network.
