‎Bangladesh, Netherlands Seek to Expand Cooperation in Agriculture and Climate-Resilient Farming

Diplomatic Correspondent: Joris van Bommel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, met with Mohammed Aminur Rashid, Honourable Minister of Agriculture, at the ministry to further strengthen agricultural cooperation between Bangladesh and the Netherlands.

‎During the meeting, both sides discussed a wide range of priority areas, including climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable fisheries, and livestock development. They also reviewed ongoing collaboration in seeds, horticulture, water management, aquaculture, and dairy sectors.

‎The discussions additionally explored emerging opportunities such as organic agriculture aimed at export markets, reflecting shared interest in innovation and sustainable growth.
