Strict Action Will Be Taken If Irregularities Occur: DIG of Dhaka Range in Faridpur

Faridpur Correspondent: Rezaul Karim Mallik, DIG of Dhaka Range, has said that if any police members commit any irregularities or corruption, strict action will be taken according to the law. "I will not tolerate this under any circumstances. No economic corruption or irregularities will be allowed. If I receive any report that you are involved in any irregular or unethical activities, special action will be taken against you. I will not give even a tiny bit of leeway in this matter," he said.

He made these remarks during his speech as the chief guest at a special welfare meeting held on Tuesday (15th July) afternoon in the Faridpur Police Lines hall room.

At the event, the DIG of Dhaka Range handed over gifts to the families of seven martyrs of the July movement in Faridpur.

Among others, Faridpur Superintendent of Police Md. Abdul Jalil, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Shamsul Azam, and various officers of the district police were present.

Later, he inaugurated the Multipurpose Hall (Welfare Shed) located in the Police Lines.
