News Desk:LEAD Academy is now accepting applications for the fourth cohort of its distinguished LEAD Luminaries Program, a six-month campus ambassadorship designed to prepare university students for professional success in both local and global contexts.

This initiative offers a unique opportunity for motivated undergraduate students to engage in skill-building experiences that bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application. Selected participants will gain exposure to national and international initiatives, develop workplace competencies, and build a strong professional network.

About LEAD Luminaries

LEAD Luminaries is the official student ambassador program of LEAD Academy, developed to connect higher education institutions with industry leaders and innovative learning opportunities. It is aimed at proactive, community-oriented students- eager to contribute to meaningful educational initiatives.

The program is aligned with three key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 4 – Quality Education
SDG 10 – Reduced Inequality
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals

LEAD Academy is also notable for its inclusive education efforts, including its collaboration with the government’s national innovation agency (a2i) to provide accessible upskilling programs for persons with disabilities — a first in the region.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the program, applicants must:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular or leadership activities
Show interest in education, youth development, and the goals of LEAD Academy

Roles and Responsibilities

LEAD Luminaries will serve as the official student representatives of LEAD Academy on their respective campuses. Core responsibilities include:

Promoting LEAD Academy’s educational initiatives, events, and platforms
Coordinating and participating in outreach activities and workshops
Sharing updates and content through social media channels
Collaborating with on-campus organizations to support educational initiatives
Providing feedback and reporting on program activities and outcomes

Program Duration and Application Details

Tenure: 6 months (Ending in November 2025)
Application Deadline: May 23, 2025, at 11:59 PM
Selection Process: Shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email for an online interview
