42 years of G series in song and dance

Entertainment Desk:  G-Series, the name itself is enough to identify it. It is the country's leading audio-video production company. It is also one of the pioneers in the audio world. Keeping pace with the times, the company has crossed four decades.

Sunday (March 3) marks the 42nd anniversary of G-Series. The company has now crossed 42 and entered its 43rd year. To commemorate the auspicious occasion of the long journey of the G-Series family, various arrangements have been made at the company's head office, including a cake cutting ceremony. The day will be celebrated with joy and celebration.

Regarding the long journey, the head of the organization, Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan (Khaled), said, "It seems like the journey of G-Series began that day. The organization has completed 42 years. I have not realized how four decades have passed. Like in the past, G-Series will work with all the talented artists of the country in the coming days as well. It will also continue to work with new talents. Like in the past years, we will move forward in the coming years with everyone's genuine love and cooperation. I extend my heartfelt greetings to all our listeners, viewers, artists, and well-wishers on this anniversary."

Art enthusiast Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan (Khaled) started the journey of G-Series in 1983. Under his talent, vision and strong leadership, G-Series is now moving forward with a reputation as a leading production company in the country. Since its inception, G-Series has been giving importance to local art, culture and tradition, as well as making a unique contribution to the development of new generation talents, including the country's best and most renowned musicians.

Many established lyricists, composers and musicians of the Bangladeshi music world started their journey under the guidance of this institution. The G-Series is named after the first letter 'G' in the English of poet Rabindranath Tagore's famous poem Gitanjali. In addition, the first letter of the words Gaya, Global and Ground is 'G'. The principle and assumption of following the characteristics of Gaya, Ground and Global are one of the features of the G-Series.

The company has been producing and distributing Bengali songs, including cassettes/albums, CDs, VCDs, music videos, as well as dramas, telefilms, movies, and video documentaries.

Incidentally, G-Series established 'Agniveena' as a subsidiary in 2006. It was named after the famous poem 'Agniveena' by the national poet of Bangladesh Kazi Nazrul Islam. Later, 'G-Technologies', 'Radio G BD.net' started operations as subsidiaries of G-Series.

In addition, 8 years ago, on the anniversary of the founding of G-Series, an online news portal named 'NewsG24.com', with a sense of patriotism and objectivity, embarked on a new journey in the media. In that sense, today is also the anniversary of the founding of 'NewsG24.com'. Today, NewsG has entered its 9th year.

At the same time, an e-commerce business has started its journey as a subsidiary of G-Series. Its name is Bikroybaba.com. In addition, another subsidiary company named G Prime has been added.
