1 arrested for child rape in Jhenaidah

Jhenaidah Correspondent: Police have arrested a man named Tariqul Joarddar for allegedly raping a 5-year-old child in Jhenaidah. He was arrested this morning from Rayara village in Shailkupa upazila.

Shailkupa Police Station OC Jahangir Alam said Tariqul Joarddar of Roira village raped a child in his house when he found a neighbor alone on Sunday afternoon. At this time, hearing the child's scream, his mother came forward. Tariqul then fled. The child's uncle filed a case with Shailkupa police station on Monday night. He was arrested from Roira village on Tuesday morning after the case was filed.
