Argentina finally won the Copa by beating Colombia with Martinez's goal

Sports desk:  Argentina went to the field against Colombia today with the goal of winning the second consecutive Copa America title. There was extreme drama from the start of the final match of the two teams. The game started after 1 hour and 10 minutes due to crowd disturbance. Then the match started, but in the first half, James Rodriguez turned the stick on Lionel Scaloni's disciples. Lionel Messi left the field with an injury in the second half of the match. Substitute Nico Gonzales then had a goal but it was disallowed for offside.

Meanwhile, the match went into extra time as both teams failed to score in the second half. In extra time, Colombia beat Argentina. Albiceleste kept the defense busy with one attack after another. Scaloni's students also fought desperately for the goal of the opponent's attack. Meanwhile, Argentina took the lead in the second half without seeing a goal in the first half of the extra time.

Lautaro Martinez led the team with a great goal in the 112th minute. This is the only goal he scored that finally saw Albiceleste win. The striker, who had a great game throughout the season, got the ball from Lo Celso's flick and entered the box from the right side with a great shot. This goal confirmed Argentina's 16th Copa America title. 

Earlier, the Copa America final started after 80 minutes due to crowd disturbances. The game was supposed to start at 6 am Bangladesh time but after several delays the high voltage final started at 7:25 am.

Neither team scored in the first half of the final. Argentina and Colombia went into the break from equality. From the beginning of the match, both teams attacked, but Colombia was more dominant. They put Argentina under pressure from the start. Colombia could have gone ahead in 6 minutes of the match. Unless John Córdoba's shot went wide of the goal. At 19 minutes into the match, Argentina created a good chance to score. Di Maria passes the ball to Messi inside the D box. Even though Messi took the ball shot while standing in an empty space, Colombia's defense skillfully blocked it. The defense blocked Messi's shot and prevented Argentina from scoring.

Jefferson Lerma took a strong shot from far outside the D box in the 32nd minute of the match without being able to create a goal. But he didn't have that goal. The ball goes out of bounds. After a while, Argentina attacked. In that attack, Messi curled up in pain on the field after being severely tackled by Colombian footballers in the D box. After a while, he started playing again on the field but could not advance the team.

After that, neither Colombia-Argentina team could create a chance. As a result, the first half of the game ended in a goalless draw. Meanwhile, the Albiceleste got several chances to score in the beginning of the second half of the match. In the 57th minute, Di Maria entered the box and took a shot, but it was saved by the Colombian goalkeeper. 

Meanwhile, in the 63rd minute of the match, Messi suffered a muscle injury in the fight for possession of the ball with Luis Diaz. Then he had to leave the field. The Argentinian captain was seen crying because he could not play the full time in the final. Meanwhile, Nico Gonzales, who came on as Messi's replacement, found the back of the net. But his goal was ruled out for offside. Both teams then battled desperately to find the back of the net in the allotted ninety minutes, but ultimately failed to find the back of the net, sending the game into extra time.
