International Desk: Iran has imposed sanctions against at least 11 US police officers for allegedly repressing pro-Palestinian student protests at various US universities.

On October 7, when Zionist Israel launched a barbaric invasion of Gaza, the students of various universities in the United States protested against it.  Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this information on Wednesday.

Iran also said that US police officers who are under sanctions cannot transact in the Iranian financial and banking system. Their assets will be confiscated and they will not be granted visas to enter Iran.

The officers sanctioned are-  1. William Billy Hitchens, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Safety. 2. Eddie Greer, commanding officer of field operations in Georgia. 3. Linda J. Stump-Kernick, chief of the University of Florida Police Department. 4. Pamela A. Smith, chief of the Metropolitan Police Department in the District of Columbia.  5. Jeffrey Carroll, Executive Assistant Chief, Metropolitan Police Department. 6. Carl Jacobson, Chief of the New Haven Police Department.  7. Shane Streepy, Assistant Chief of the University of Texas Police Department.  8. Michael Cox, Commissioner of the Boston Police Department.  9. Scott Dunning, Indiana University Police Department Central Division Chief.  10. Michael Thompson, Arizona State University Police Chief.  11. John Brockie, Chief of Police, Cal State Long Beach Police Department.

Tehran has said US police officers covered by the sanctions cannot transact in the Iranian financial and banking system. Their assets in Iran will be confiscated and Iran visas will not be issued. Before this, on October 7 of last year, the Hamas government of Gaza launched the biggest military operation of this decade in Israel.

Immediately after this, Israel began airstrikes and ground attacks on Gaza.  Even in the Rajya Sabha, the opposition did not give up Modi! The opposition did not give up Modi in the Rajya Sabha! More than 38,000 Palestinians have been killed so far, most of them women and children. More than 84 thousand people were injured.

Hundreds of thousands of Gazans are also missing.  Immediately after the start of the ongoing genocide, thousands of students of American universities protested against it. But the police-administration suppressed the peaceful protest.

Tens of thousands of protesters were arrested on campuses in Texas, California, Georgia, North Carolina, Utah, Virginia, New Mexico, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Louisiana. Many students and teachers were seriously injured in the police attack.
