International Desk: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and PTI founder Imran Khan said that the only mistake was to trust former Army Chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa while in power.   He said this in a special interview recently given to Middle East journalist Mehdi Hasan. The interview was published in independent media GTO.  In the interview, Imran Khan said, I was kept in a cell called death cell. A very small place where terrorists are kept. The authorities want to make me look like a terrorist. I am not given any of the basic rights that a prisoner should have.

They are trying to break my morale. But my heart is still strong because of faith in Allah. But in the last two years I have had time to analyze all my actions and their consequences. After spending 11 months in jail I am almost certain that General Bajwa was behind it all. I don't blame anyone else. He meticulously planned the whole thing, made it a reality. Imran Khan said that General Bajwar created chaos in the national and international arena by creating false and fabricated statements. He failed to understand the negative impact this has had on democracy and Pakistan.

Imran said to the world, "My message is very simple. The incident was not done only with Imran Khan. Rather, it came as a blow to democracy and the 25 crore Pakistani people. Women, men, children were killed, abducted, tortured. No one said two words. Only one political party was found guilty on all sides.
