Fined by mobile court for selling fruit at high price in Narail

Narail representative: A mobile court has been conducted by the district administration in Narail to keep the price of goods at a reasonable level during the holy month of Ramadan.

District Administration Assistant Commissioner and learned Executive Magistrate Shibu Das conducted the operation at the fruit market of the old bus terminal market of Narail city on Wednesday (March 21) afternoon.

According to mobile court sources, due to the large difference between the sale price of the fruit purchased and the memo, under the Agriculture Marketing and Consumer Rights Protection Act, Mominur Rahman, the proprietor of Bhai Bhai Fruit House, was fined 10,000 taka and another fruit trader, Anisur Rahman, was fined 5,000 taka. Fined.
