Faridpur Correspondent: Faridpur Kotyali Police Station OC Md. Hasanuzzaman has visited various markets of Faridpur to control the market of daily commodities during Ramadan and create awareness among the public. At this time, he distributed leaflets to create awareness among buyers, sellers and general public.

On Tuesday afternoon, he visited some other local markets including New Market Titumi Market, Tepa Khola Cow Market, Tepakhola Raw Food Market, Tipakhola Fish Market and other local markets to keep the price of goods under control and tolerable and distributed leaflets to seek the help of the police to prevent any kind of injustice among the common people.

OC of Kotwali police station Md. Hasanuzzaman said that when the Eid season comes, some criminals target the customers who come to shop in the markets and try to harass them in various ways. At this time, Malam parties and looters are on the run. At the same time, the seller Rao Oti increases the price daily for the sake of profit. He said that is why we have advised the customers who come to shop in Newmarket Ati Titumir market area and be careful in carrying cash including banking.

He said that in Dabakhola cow market area, awareness activities have been carried out to prevent cattle traders and buyers from extortion and malam parties. He said that even in the market of Netrakona, no dishonest traders have been warned not to charge excessive prices for the sake of high profits.
