School student killed by truck in Chatmohar

Pabna Correspondent: Hussain Mollah (10) a schoolboy was killed by a truck in Chatmohar, Pabna. The accident took place at Binyabari village of Nimaichra union of the upazila at around nine in the morning on Tuesday (March 19).

Chatmohar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Salim Reza confirmed this.

The deceased Hussain Molla is the son of Jabed Molla of Binyabari village. He was a class IV student of Binyabari Government Primary School.

According to eyewitnesses, Hussain was returning home on a bicycle from the nearby Dhankuniya village at around nine in the morning. He died on the spot when a truck carrying a load of bricks ran over him on a paved road under construction in Binyabari village near his home. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chatmohar police station.

Salim Reza said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving the information. The driver is absconding. The truck has been impounded.
