Women's Day rally and discussion meeting organized by Landless Development Organization LDO at Chatmohar

Pabna representative: A rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of celebrating International Women's Day in Chatmohar, Pabna under the theme 'Equal rights and opportunities for women'.

The rally and discussion meeting was held on Tuesday (March 19) at 11 am organized by Landless Development Association LDO.

At the beginning of the program, Abdul Matin read the concept of International Women's Day. In the executive office of Landless Development Sanstha LDO chaired by landless leader Omar Ali and moderated by executive director of Landless Development Sanstha LDO Noore Alam Siddiqui Manjur, former president of Chatmohar Press Club Helalur Rahman Jewel, training officer of Upazila Social Services Department Mohitosh Pal, Upazila Social Services gave a brief speech at the meeting. Abdus Sobahan, field supervisor of the directorate, KM Belal Hossain Swapan, editor of the weekly Asmay newspaper, Razia Sultana, the landless women leader, Nipa, the women's leader, Masood Rana of the daily news, etc.

In the meeting, women leader Razia Sultana said that women are trying to keep the economic wheels of Bangladesh moving. They need to ensure a place of safety. Make sure they can stand on their own feet. Women are now carrying out the responsibilities of the current government, women must take them forward by guaranteeing their rights from every household in this country.

Women's leader Neepa said that harassment of women should be stopped. Patriarchal thinking must be broken. Humane society should be built by guaranteeing equal rights of men and women. Women in the world are now showing success in all fields.
