Vandalism in excess of alcohol, father killed by son

Chapainawabganj representative: A man named Swapan (46) died in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj during a fight with his son after consuming too much alcohol. The incident took place at Gosaibari area of ​​Dhainagar union of the upazila around 10:30 am on Monday (March 18). Shibganj Thana police arrested son Emon Ali in this incident.

The deceased Swapan is the son of deceased Azizul in Gosaibari area of ​​Dhainagar Union of Swapan Upazila. Officer-in-charge of Shibganj police station Sajjad Hossain said that Swapan came to his house late at night in a drunken state and vandalized it. At this time, he had an argument and push with his son Eman Ali.

At one point Swapan fell unconscious after being hit by a tree by his son. Later, first aid was also given at home. When the condition worsened in the morning, Swapan was declared brought dead by the doctor on duty when he was taken to the district's 250-bed hospital. The OC also said that the body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem. Son Eman Ali has been detained.
