Islamic sculpture 'Shanti Chatwar' inaugurated in Feni

Feni Correspondent: An Islamic sculpture named 'Shaanti Chatwar' has been installed at the three road mode of Mizan Road in Feni city. The sculpture contains 99 names of Allah's attributes.

Nizam Uddin Hazari, Member of Parliament of Feni-2 Constituency and District Awami League General Secretary, inaugurated the sculpture on Sunday (March 17) evening. At that time the square was named 'Shanti Chatwar'.

The sculpture was originally built by the initiative of Feni Municipality. According to municipal sources, the contractor company called New Smart General Service completed the work in 2 months. It is also said that this sculpture has 7000 LED lights.

Nizam Hazari said that for a long time, all major programs of the district were held in Mizan Maidan. International Qur'at conference along with Eid congregation is held here. Peace square in front of that Maidan is a commendable initiative. He also said that more Islamic sculptures will be constructed in the city in the future.
