Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day are celebrated in Narail

Narail representative: The 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day were celebrated in Narail on March 17.

On the occasion of celebrating the day on Sunday, district administration and various government and non-government institutions and organizations including Awami League are organizing it separately.

Organized by District Awami League at 8:30 AM at the District Awami League office hoisting of national flag and party flag, wreath laying on Bangabandhu's portrait and special prayers were held.

District Awami League President and Zilla Parishad Chairman Adv. Subas Chandra Bose, District Awami League General Secretary and Sadar Upazila Chairman Nizamuddin Khan Nilu, District Awami League Vice President and Municipal Mayor Anjuman Ara, District Women Awami League President Begum Rabeya Yusuf and leaders of Awami League and allied organizations were present.

In addition, hoisting of the national flag at sunrise at the initiative of the district administration, at Bangabandhu's mural located in the office premises of the district commissioner and at the old terminal, on behalf of the whip member of the parliament of Bangladesh, Mashrafe Bin Moturza, district administration, judicial department, police administration, district council, Muktijoddha Sangsad, Awami League, district Various public and private institutions including Chhatra League, various educational institutions and organizations placed wreaths on the portrait of Banga Bandhu.

Later, a discussion was held on the significance of the day and child health awareness and nutrition and food in the conference room of the District Commissioner.

District Commissioner Mohammad Ashfaqul Haque Chowdhury, District and Sessions Judge Al Mach Mridha, Superintendent of Police Md. Mehdi Hasan, Zilla Parishad Chairman and District Awami League President Adv. Chairman Nizamuddin Khan Nilu, officials and employees of various government and private institutions and various organizations were present on the occasion.

Other programs of the day include cultural programs with the participation of children, special prayer/prayer, quiz, painting, writing competition, book and documentary exhibition based on the biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu and the Great Liberation War, display of March 7 speech, award distribution and other events.

Also, different agendas have been adopted by various government and non-government institutions and organizations.
