Bangabandhu's birth anniversary and National Children's Day are celebrated in Meland

Jamalpur Correspondent: A discussion meeting to celebrate the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day 2024 and award distribution ceremony among the winners of various competitions organized on the occasion, in front of the slogan "Bangabandhu's dreams, bring laughter to everyone's house".

On the occasion of the day, Melandah upazila administration organized a tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu on Sunday (March 17) morning in the hall room of Melandah Mirza Azam Modern Auditorium under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mahbuba Haque, Chairman of Melandah Upazila Parishad EG Md. Kamruzzaman spoke as the chief guest.

Melandah Upazila Awami League President Mohammad Ali Jinnah, General Secretary Md Jinnah, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Jasmine Akhtar, Melandah Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Raju Ahmed spoke as special guests.

Bangabandhu's dream was to make Bangladesh a developed and ideal state in the world.
