Faridpur Representative: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day have been celebrated in Faridpur through various events.
The program of the day started with National Anthem and Bangabandhu Morale wreath laying at Ambika Maidan in the city on Sunday at 9 am.
During this time Faridpur-3 Member of Parliament AK Azad, District Commissioner Md Kamrul Ahsan Talukdar, Superintendent of Police Morshed Alam, Muktijoddha Sangsad of the district, leaders and activists of its organizations including district Awami and various social, cultural organizations and schools and colleges laid wreaths on Bangabandhu's portrait.
Later, a discussion meeting was held at Ambika Memorial Hall to mark the day.
Faridpur-3 Member of Parliament AK Azad, Superintendent of Police Morshed Alam spoke under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Md Kamrul Ahsan. People of various professions including children and teenagers were present at the time.
