Peace Facilitator Group formation meeting held in Ishwarganj

Mymensingh Representative: Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) formation meeting organized by The Hunger Project Bangladesh at Ishwarganj, Mymensingh. The meeting was held on Saturday in Ishwarganj Girls School and College hall room under the chairmanship of senior journalist Ittefaq Correspondent Saiful Islam Talukder.

Jayant Kar, Regional Coordinator of The Hunger Project Mymensingh, spoke in the meeting highlighting the aims and objectives of the formation of PFG. He said that the main purpose of forming this committee is to develop democratic values, prevent violence, create a positive and harmonious political coexistence for all irrespective of caste, religion and caste with the aim of building a liberal, non-communal, tolerant free humane society and state. In order to implement the activities of this committee in a fair and beautiful manner, he called for the full cooperation of all.

Under the direction of Citizen Sujan Ishwarganj Upazila Branch General Secretary Lecturer Neelkanth Aich Majumdar, The Hunger Project Bogra Area Coordinator Abdur Rauf, Upazila Awami League Vice President Bazlur Rahman, Upazila Jatiya Party General Secretary Abdul Hadi, Upazila Juba Dal Former President AKM Atikur spoke among others.

Razzaq Bhuiyan Hira, Liberal Democratic Party Mymensingh North District Branch General Secretary Abdus Samad, National People's Party Mymensingh District Branch Organizing Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, Upazila Jubo League Deputy Women Affairs Secretary Nusnat Ara Priya etc. Besides, ANN Nazmul Hasan Tuhin, Area Coordinator of The Hunger Project, Aktaruzzaman, Field Coordinator were present in the meeting.

At the end of the discussion meeting, senior journalist Saiful Islam Talukdar as coordinator and A-League lecturer Ruhul Amin Rahul, Jubo League's Nusnat Ara Priya, BNP's Atiqur Razzak Bhuiya Hira and Zapar Abdul Hadi as ambassadors were formed into a 30-member Ishwarganj Upazila PFG Committee. is
