Bike rider killed after being crushed by the wheels of a truck in Manikganj

Manikganj Representative: A motorcycle rider was killed after being crushed by the wheels of a truck in Dhaka-Aricha highway. The accident took place at Jagir Baitra area of ​​Manikganj Sadar Upazila on Dhaka Aricha highway on Tuesday afternoon, March 12. The deceased motorcyclist is Md. Kushum Ali (38), son of Didar Baks Ali of Uchutia village of Sadar Upazila.

According to police and local sources, he was going towards Manikganj via Dhaka Aricha highway. At a place called Jagir Baitra of Sadar Upazila, the motorcycle lost control and fell on the highway due to sand on the road. A truck loaded with bricks coming from behind ran over the motorcyclist's head. Md Kushum Ali, a motorcyclist, was crushed by the rear wheel of the truck and died on the spot. Sukhendu Basu, Officer-in-Charge of Gola Highway Police Station, said that the body has been sent to Manikganj District Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
