Faridpur Correspondent: The Naval Police recovered the body of an unidentified person from the Padma river in the C&B Ghat area of ​​Faridpur. The dead body was recovered from Banshtala Ghat area of ​​C&B Ghat area of ​​Char Union of Faridpur Suburban Decree around 10:30 AM on Monday.

In the morning, local residents saw the dead body floating on the bank of Padma river in Banshtala Kheyaghat area and reported to C&B Ghat Naval Police Station. Later, the police recovered the dead body and sent it to Faridpur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Mehdi Hasan Mintu, Chairman of the Decrechar Union, said that the body did not seem to be from the area, so the identity could not be found. Given its condition, it is believed to be two-three days old and floated down the Padma river. Confirming the truth of the incident, Deputy Inspector (SI) of the Naval Police Idris Sheikh said, today (Monday) morning, based on the news of the locals, we recovered the body from the Padma River in the C&B Ghat area. The deceased was wearing a black and white full sleeve sweater and blue-khaki colored shirt and jeans pants. A muffler was twisted around the deceased's neck. The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) is working to identify the deceased. In this regard, Faridpur Kotyali police station is preparing a case.
