Distribution of jute seeds free of charge in Ishwarganj

Ishwarganj Corespondent: In Ishwarganj, Mymensingh, the free jute seed distribution program among small, marginal farmers was auspiciously inaugurated in order to increase the cultivation and production of jute crops in the 2024-25 season.

Jatiya Parliament Member Mahmud Hasan Sumon inaugurated the jute seed distribution program under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ariful Islam Prince at the office of the Upazila Agriculture Officer on Sunday. It is known that Kharip-1 jute seeds were distributed among 80 farmers of the upazila under the incentive program for the financial year 2023-24. Upazila Agriculture Officer agriculturist Nusrat Zaman delivered the welcome speech at the jute seed distribution program. Upazila Awami League vice-president Joynal Abedin, Bajlur Rahman, member Abul Mansoor, Upazila Jubo League general secretary Junayedul Islam Bhuiyan Sumon, Ishwarganj police station officer Muhammad Majedur Rahman and others were present.
