Younger brother killed by elder brother in Manikganj

Manikganj Representative: In Singair Upazila of Manikganj, it has been alleged that younger brother Kohel Uddin (65) was killed by his elder brother due to a dispute over the boundary of the house. Aashka, the son of the person killed in the incident, is under treatment in the hospital in critical condition. Kohl died at the hospital around 6 am on Monday (March 11). The officer in charge of the police station confirmed this. The deceased Kohel Uddin is the son of deceased Intaj Uddin of Madhur Char village of Jamitta Union of Upazila.

According to police and locals, Kohel Uddin and his elder brother were killed on Sunday (March 10) around noon. A quarrel started between Islam Munsi's family over a foot of the boundary of the house. During a dispute between their two families, Islam Munshi and his children attacked Kohel Uddin's family. When Kohel Uddin and his son Shahinur were seriously injured in this incident, the locals rescued them and admitted them to the hospital. Then Kohl died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. On the other hand, the son of the deceased is under treatment at Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar in critical condition. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Singair police station Ziarul Islam said, after receiving the news, the incident site has been inspected. Legal action in this regard is under process.
