Earthquake and fire drills held at Chatmohar

Pabna representative: National Disaster Preparedness Day was celebrated at Chatmohar in Pabna with the motto "Struggle Disaster Preparedness, Build Smart Sonar Bangla".

On Sunday (March 10) at 10 am, an earthquake and fire drill was held at the Upazila Parishad premises organized by the Chatmohar Upazila Administration and Disaster Management Branch.

Conducted under the auspices of members of Chatmohar Fire Service and Civil Defense Service, practical training was imparted on earthquake rescue, fire fighting, use of equipment used in natural calamities, and disaster recovery.

During the exercise, Vice Chairman of Chatmohar Upazila Parishad Isahak Ali Manik, Project Implementation Officer Shamim Ehsan, Ajker newspaper correspondent Shubashish Bhattacharya Tushar and students, teachers, journalists of various educational institutions were present.
