National Disaster Preparedness Day celebration at Ulipur

Kurigram Representative: National Disaster Preparedness Day-2024 was celebrated at Ulipur in Kurigram under the motto "Fight Disaster Preparedness, Build Smart Sonar Bangla". On Sunday (March 10) at 11 am, a rally organized by the Upazila Administration and Disaster Management Department went around the main road of the city and ended at the Upazila square.

Upazila Executive Officer Ataur Rahman spoke at this time - upazila parishad chairman Bir Muktijoddha Golam Hossain Montu, vice chairman Abu Saeed Sarkar, female vice chairman Mocha. Ripa Sardar, Upazila Education Officer Amir Hossain, Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Sirajuddaula and others. Later, fire service earthquake and fire drills were demonstrated.

Officials of various departments of the upazila, representatives of NGOs and students of various educational institutions were present in the event.
