National Disaster Preparedness Day celebration at Gopalpur

Gopalpur Representative: National Disaster Preparedness Day 2024 was celebrated at Gopalpur in Tangail with the theme "Fight Disaster Preparedness, Build Smart Sonar Bangla". On the occasion of the day, on Sunday (March 10) morning, Gopalpur Upazila Administration and Disaster Management Department organized a procession, earthquake and fire drill and discussion meeting.

A discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad square after the demonstration of the fire drill with the participation of Gopalpur Fire Service and Civil Defense. Nazmul Hasan, project implementation officer. Ariful Islam Upazila Secondary Education Officer Zulfikar Haider, Mirzapur Union Parishad Chairman Rafiqul Islam Lovelu, Fire Service Sub Station Master Md. Rafiqul Islam and others. Officials, employees, journalists, teachers and students of various departments of the upazila were present on this occasion.
