International Women's Day is Celebrated in Ishwarganj

Ishwarganj representative: "Equal rights and opportunities for women, let's invest to advance" in the light of this motto, like all over the country, rallies, discussions and cultural programs have been organized on the occasion of International Women's Day in Ishwarganj.

On Friday, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad room after the rally organized by the office of the Upazila Administration and Women Affairs Officer.

Mahmud Hasan Sumon, Member of National Parliament of Mymensingh-8 Ishwarganj Constituency, spoke as the chief guest at the meeting under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ariful Islam Prince.

Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Mahmuda Hasan Poli, Women Affairs Officer Fatematujjohura, Ishwarganj Press Club Ex-President Lecturer Neelkanth Aich Majumdar, Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee General Secretary Maya Rani Sarkar and others spoke on the occasion.

Ishwarganj Upazila Awami League vice-president Joynal Abedin, member Abul Mansoor, youth club gender promoter, music and recitation coach, club members, students of various schools, print and electronic media journalists were present in the discussion meeting.

At the end of the discussion meeting, a wonderful cultural program was organized.
