Brahmanbaria Correspondent: An old man named Shahar Molla (70) was killed on the way while returning home after praying in Akhaura. This incident took place in Shantinagar in the municipal area on Friday morning. The deceased Shahar is the son of Gedu Molla of Shantinagar. The officer-in-charge (OC) of Akhaura police station confirmed the matter and said that the person was returning home via Bara Bazar-Dharkhar road after offering prayers.

At that time, an autorickshaw going to Akhaura hit him and he was seriously injured. When he was brought to Akhaura Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead. The autorickshaw driver fled after the incident.
