News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, I am not willing to accept this if we give girls a chance. Economic emancipation of girls is greatest. That is, if women are given economic security, they can do everything. The Prime Minister said this while attending a discussion meeting and awarding ceremony on the occasion of International Women's Day at Osmani Memorial Auditorium at 10 am on Friday (March 8).

Day after day they are subjected to brutal torture. Unspeakable torture is inflicted on them day after day. I pay respect to those oppressed mothers and sisters. He said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib honored these oppressed women by naming them Birangana. We recognized them as freedom fighters, not forgetting their contribution. He said, we have already taken many steps. From the administration to the army, navy and air force, there was no opportunity for girls anywhere. We have given that opportunity after taking over.

Women are playing the most responsible roles in UN peacekeeping missions. They are bringing the reputation of Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina said, my father used to do politics. He spent most of his time in jail. At that time, my mother used to keep her activities secret. But even the intelligence agencies could not catch my mother. My mother used to change her clothes and secretly meet the activists of Chhatra League and Awami League. He could not grasp the point of advice. He was so smart.
