In 24 hours, one person died due to corona in the country

Online desk:  In the last 24 hours, one person has died due to corona infection in the country. So far, 29 thousand 488 people have died due to corona virus in the country. 33 people were newly identified on this day. In all, the number of infected people stands at 20 lakh 48 thousand 149 people.

This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Friday (February 23).

289 samples were tested in 24 hours in 885 labs under government and private management across the country. So far 1 crore 56 lakh 58 thousand 744 samples have been tested.

It is said that 47 people including asymptomatic patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. A total of 20 lakh 15 thousand 227 people have recovered so far.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate of sample testing is 11.42 percent. So far, the detection rate considering the sample test is 13.08 percent. The recovery rate for detection is 98.39 percent and the death rate for detection is 1.44 percent.

A man dead within 24 hours, aged between 61 and 70 years. He died in Dhaka Division Government Hospital.

It also informed that nine people have come to isolation in the last 24 hours and two people have been discharged from isolation. So far, 4 lakh 52 thousand 910 people have come under isolation and 4 lakh 23 thousand 634 people have received clearance from isolation. Currently 29 thousand 276 people are in isolation.

According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of corona virus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
