In 24 hours, 38 more people were diagnosed with corona

News desk: In the last 24 hours, no one has died due to coronavirus in the country. So far 29 thousand 484 people have died due to coronavirus in the country. 38 people were newly identified on this day. In all, the number of infected people stands at 20 lakh 47 thousand 709 people.

This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Wednesday (February 14) afternoon.  
 439 samples were tested in 24 hours in 885 labs under government and private management across the country. So far 1 crore 56 lakh 53 thousand 698 samples have been tested.

It is said that 45 people including asymptomatic patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. A total of 20 lakh 14 thousand 898 people have recovered so far.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate of sample testing is 8.66 percent. So far, the detection rate considering the sample test is 13.8 percent. The recovery rate for detection is 98.40 percent and the death rate for detection is 1.44 percent.

It was also informed that in the last 24 hours, three people have come to isolation and one person has been discharged from isolation. So far, 4 lakh 52 thousand 879 people have come under isolation and 4 lakh 23 thousand 622 people have received clearance from isolation. Currently 29 thousand 257 people are in isolation.  
 
According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of coronavirus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
