Lakhs of worshipers gather in Ijtema on Friday

Online Desk: The second phase of Vishwa Ijtema is going on on the banks of Turag river in Tongir. The Ijtema started with the Ambayan of Maulana Ilyas bin Saad Kandhalvir, the youngest son of Maulana Saad. Next Sunday (February 11) between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM, the second phase of the World Ijtema will end with the final prayer. Lakhs of worshipers will participate in Juma Jamaat in Ijtema on Friday (February 09). Maulana Yusuf bin Sa'd Kandhalvi, eldest son of Maulana Sa'd, will lead it. Earlier, Maulana Sharif Ahmed of Nizamuddin Markaz addressed the worshipers after Fajr on Thursday (08 February).

His speech was translated into Bengali by Maulana Sheikh Abdullah Mansoor of Bangladesh. Bad Zohar was narrated by Maulana Harunur Rashid of Pakistan. His speech was translated into Bengali by Maulana Azim Uddin. Wasiful Islam, the top instructor of Ijtema organizing committee, gave the closing speech. Bad Maghrib was narrated by Maulana Abdus Sattar of India. Maulana Mufti Zia bin Kashem translated his speech.
