In 24 hours, 34 more people were diagnosed with corona

Online desk:  In the last 24 hours, no one has died due to corona virus in the country. So far 29 thousand 482 people have died due to corona virus in the country. 34 people were newly identified on this day. The total number of infected people has reached 20 lakh 47 thousand 233 people. This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Friday (February 2) afternoon.  

It is said that 22 people including asymptomatic patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. So far 20 lakh 14 thousand 465 people have recovered. 409 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours in 885 labs under public and private management across the country. So far 1 crore 56 lakh 46 thousand 613 samples have been tested.

In the notification, the detection rate in the sample test in the last 24 hours is 8.31 percent. So far, the detection rate considering the sample test is 13.08 percent. The recovery rate is 98.40 percent. The mortality rate for detection is 1.44 percent.

It also informed that one person came to isolation in the last 24 hours and two others got clearance from isolation. So far 4 lakh 52 thousand 860 people have come to isolation and 4 lakh 23 thousand 601 people have received clearance from isolation. Currently 29 thousand 259 people are in isolation.

According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of corona virus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
