RAB is ready to provide security to worshipers in Ijtema

Gazipur representative: RAB will maintain five levels of security in and around Biswa Ijtema ground to avoid vandalism. The intelligence agencies will be on high alert to ensure that the worshipers do not create any problems and disturbances in the Maidan.

On Tuesday (January 30) at noon, the captain of RAB-1 Lt. Colonel Mostak Ahmed.

He said that the worshipers can go home safely from the Ijtema Maidan after the final prayer of the two phases. RAB is ready for the security of those coming to Ijtema.

The RAB captain also said that the RAB will not only provide security but also provide free medical services to the worshipers who come for Ijtema. CCTV cameras have been installed at 18 entrance gates to the entire Ijtema Maidan. There is also a CC camera at the Kamdar gate for foreign guests. There is a main control room and two sub-control rooms for round-the-clock monitoring. 9 observation posts, 9 watch towers are monitoring round the clock. He said that RAB helicopters are also on patrol in the air to monitor the entire field.

Apart from this, RAB's bomb squad, dog squad and striking force are present in the field. RAB speedboats are available for patrolling the Turag river. Apart from this, RAB members in white clothes will be deployed in every corner of Maidan.

The first phase of the 57th World Ijtema, the second largest gathering in the Muslim world, will begin on Friday (February 2).
