Rangpur Bureau: Rangpur is gripped by cold, mild cold current is blowing over the division and cold wind in Konkan. If the temperature is below 10 degrees again, the Directorate of Primary and Mass Education has ordered to declare closure of all educational institutions. However, the temperature is flowing below 10 degrees in all the districts of Rangpur division. Due to this, the teaching schedule of all primary schools of 8 districts of Rangpur division has been announced. On Thursday (January 24) morning, due to severe winter, the academic education program of all primary schools of Rangpur Division has been announced closed for three days by the office of the Deputy Director, Primary Education Rangpur Division. In this regard, the divisional deputy director of the Directorate of Primary and Mass Education Md. Mujahidul Islam informed about the closure of the teaching schedule of all primary schools of Rangpur division. He said, as a result of the mild cold flow flowing over the Rangpur division, all primary schools in the division have been closed as per the instructions of the Department of Primary and Mass Education. Children are encouraged to wear warm clothes to study at home.

According to the forecast of the Department of Meteorology, as the temperature will be between 9 degrees Celsius at 6 am, according to the letter of the Department of Primary Education, the academic education program and teaching schedule of all the primary schools of Rangpur Division have been declared closed. Earlier on January 16, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and the Directorate of Primary Education said in a directive that primary schools will be closed like schools and colleges in case of severe cold. If the maximum temperature in a district drops below 10 degrees, primary schools will be closed in that district. Meteorologist Mostafizar Rahman said that Rangpur district recorded a temperature of 9 degrees Celsius. The weather office says that the temperature may drop further in the next two-one days. However, the meteorologist fears that the temperature may drop to 8 degrees Celsius in Rangpur. Due to extreme cold and fog, the weather is in trouble. Laborers are working people. Temperature of 8 districts of Rangpur division - 9 degrees in Rangpur, 8.6 degrees in Tetulia of Panchagarh, 9.4 degrees in Sayadpur of Nilphamari, 9.4 degrees in Rajarhat of Kurigram, 8.3 degrees in Dinajpur, 9 degrees in Dimla of Nilphamari, 9 degrees in Gaibandha and 9 degrees in Lalmonirhat. Rangpur Meteorological Office recorded a temperature of 6 degrees Celsius. Mild cold is flowing over Dinajpur, Kurigram, Nilphamari and Lalmonirhat of Rangpur division. He also said that there may be two or one of these mild cold currents. However, the weather office thinks that the temperature may rise up to 8 degrees on the next 27th and 28th.
