Ukraine attacked Russian oil depots

International Desk: Ukraine has attacked Russian oil depots. The attack took place at the Rosneft oil depot in Klintsy, western Russia, 60 kilometers from the border. The oil depot caught fire. Ukrainian security sources confirmed that a department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out the attack. Kiev claims this is its second drone attack targeting Russian oil reserves. They carried out the attack in retaliation for Russia's attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Russian officials also confirmed the attack. They said that the Ukrainian drone attacked the oil storage facility with a storage capacity of 6,000 cubic meters. News The Guardian.

Bryansk regional governor Alexander Bogomaz said Russian air defenses were able to jam the drone's electronics, but the drone dropped explosives on the oil depot. No casualty was reported in this incident. On Friday, another oil refinery fire was reported in Russia. The Ryazan oil refinery, operated by Rosneft, is reported by local media to be the third largest Ryazan oil refinery in Russia.
