Distribution of police blankets among cold victims in Nilphamari

Nilphamari Correspondent:  The Retired Police Officers Welfare Association has distributed blankets among 1000 helpless, poor and distressed people in Nilphamari. Superintendent of Police Golam Sabur distributed blankets among 500 people in Kishoreganj High School grounds of the district on Sunday (January 14) afternoon.

Superintendent of Police Golam Sabur said, Bangladesh Police is always engaged in various humanitarian work in addition to maintaining law and order from social responsibility. These winter clothes are being distributed as a humanitarian gift. The police will continue to serve the people of Bangladesh in the coming days. Funded by the Retired Police Officers Welfare Association, we distributed these winter clothes so that the severe winter suffering of the people of this area can be alleviated even a little.

Nilphamari Superintendent of Police Md. Golam Sabur, Central Executive Member of Retired Police Officers Welfare Association and retired Senior ASP. Sirajul Islam, Palash Chandra Adhikari, Officer-in-Charge of Kishoreganj Police Station were present. Earlier, another 500 blankets were distributed in the Dimla High School grounds of the district on Saturday afternoon.
