International Desk: Ukraine plans to buy at least one million drones in 2024, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said on Monday. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has ordered the first batch of first-person view (FPV) drones, Umerov said, noting that the ministry is working on effective logistics and the production of a sufficient number of combat parts. Umerov also said that the ministry had not previously purchased FPV drones. Because everything else took precedence over its necessity. But now it has been proven to be effective. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, while discussing the 2024 goal, said that Ukraine is preparing to build more weapons.

In his address to the nation on Saturday, he said, "We are working with our partners on the solutions needed for every Ukrainian soldier, our entire nation, our state." Earlier on Saturday, Ukrainian airstrikes on the Russian city of Belgorod, located on the border with Ukraine. After this, Russia attacked Kharkiv, Ukraine. At least 21 people, including three children, were killed and at least 110 injured in the attack by Ukraine in Belgorod on Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Regional Governor Vacheslav Gladkov said this. Recently, Rustem said, those who are currently working in the army are getting tired. This situation requires new zeal. Defense Minister of Ukraine said that Ukrainians aged 25 to 60 who are living abroad are being urged to return home.
