News desk: Jonaid Saki, the chief coordinator of Mass Solidarity Movement, commented that the government is going to trap the country by holding one-sided elections again.
He said, 'We want to make it clear that the government is moving towards one-sided elections. But in fact, it is moving towards the abyss with the whole of Bangladesh. They want to put the country in a ditch. wants to destroy the country.'
He said this at a short rally organized in front of the National Press Club after a rally in support of the hartal against the announcement of unilateral election schedule on Monday (November 20).
In the rally, Jonaid Saki said, 'The movement is going on, the movement will continue. The government is thinking that they will pass the one-sided election by repressing the police, BGB and B. They will renew their power by holding another election. Then they will catch the foreigners and make all the arrangements.'
Commenting on the government's two ears, he further said, 'They have no shame. They will choose one at any cost. Call it democracy. I think this will be the end of it. But we say it won't end. People today are confused by the price of goods. The government is not paying attention to that. Today, Bangladesh is facing a terrible threat in the international arena.
Comparing the sale of Awami League's nomination form to a cow market, Saiful Haque, general secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party, said, 'Even today, we saw Awami League brothers marching in front of the party office on Bangabandhu Avenue. Seeing this scene reminded me of the scene when people go to the Qorbani market to buy cows. The same way 5-10 people go to buy cows at the Qorbani market, they (Awyi League leaders and activists) are now going to the Awami League office in groups to buy election tickets.'
Joint convener of Bhasani Anusari Parishad Abu Yusuf Salim presided over the rally and moderated by Akbar Khan, member of the political council of Revolutionary Workers Party, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) General Secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmud Swapan, Vice President Siraj Mia, Organizational Coordinator of State Reform Movement Imran Imman and others were present in the rally. .
