International Desk : At least three separatists have been killed in clashes with security forces at two separate locations in Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place in clashes in Jammu's Uri and Kashmir's Baramulla districts on Saturday. In addition, the clash between the law enforcement forces and the separatists in Uri's Hathlanga area is still going on, according to the country's media Times of India.
In a message on social media X (formerly Twitter), the police of the Kashmir region said, 'Another terrorist has been killed (total 3 people). The search operation continues. Details will be given later. The country's army said, 'The three dead terrorists tried to infiltrate into India by crossing the border from Pakistan's territory.
However, alert soldiers managed to stop the terrorists by monitoring their movements. The Chinese wing of the Indian Army said, 'A joint operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and intelligence agencies foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists along the Line of Actual Control in Uri sector of Baramulla.
Security forces have eliminated a third terrorist after two terrorists were gunned down within hours of Saturday morning, police in Kashmir said. The bodies of two were removed but the body of the third could not be recovered due to firing from the nearby Pakistani security posts.
