This has increased the number of dengue deaths in the country this year to 804. Besides, 2 thousand 598 people were newly admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected people in the country this year has increased to 1 lakh 64 thousand 562 people.
This information was given in the Dengue report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday (September 16). The notification said that currently a total of 10,330 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country.
There are currently 4 thousand 208 dengue patients admitted in Dhaka's public and private hospitals and 6 thousand 122 dengue patients in other hospitals. This year, 1 lakh 64 thousand 562 patients have been admitted and treated in hospitals across the country due to dengue. Among the infected, 1 lakh 53 thousand 428 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home.
