Personal Correspondent: In commemoration of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 48th Martyrdom Anniversary and National Mourning Day-2023, on 25th August (Friday) at 04.00 pm by Jahangirnagar University BCS Officers Forum (JUBF) a discussion meeting and doa mahfil at Pravasi Kalyan Bhaban located in Ramna, Dhaka- 71 is observed.
At the beginning of the program, recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers and supplications were organized for the souls of the martyred freedom fighters including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
At the beginning of the discussion Md. Ahad, BPM, PPM (Bar) DC (DB), DMP and General Secretary, Jahangirnagar University BCS Officers Forum delivered the welcome speech.
Dr. Khandkar Mahid Uddin, Additional Commissioner of Police, DMP and Vice-President, Jahangirnagar BCS Officers Forum, spoke on the occasion.

On the occasion of the day, a minute silence is observed in memory of the father of the nation and his family members and all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great liberation war. The panelists discussed the unparalleled contribution of the Father of the Nation and the significant aspects of his life. They remembered the barbaric killings of August 15, 1975 and expressed their heartfelt anger and paid humble respect to all the martyrs including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members. The negotiators expressed the hope of being united in the path of building a happy, prosperous, developed, smart Bangladesh of Bangabandhu's dream.
