News Desk: It is said that there is no possibility of rain in the whole country on Sunday. There may be less chance of rain for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has said that the temperature will rise and heat wave may spread in different parts of the country.
Meteorologists also think that the heat may continue to increase in the next few days. The Meteorological Office said that day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country. A mild heat wave is likely to prevail in the southwestern part of the country during the next 72 hours.
On Saturday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at Rangamati at 35 degrees Celsius and the lowest at Tentulia at 21.5 degrees Celsius. Srimangal recorded the maximum rainfall of 63 millimeters (mm) in the last 24 hours till 6 am today.
