News Desk: A fire broke out in the basement of an eight-storey building in Adabar in the capital. 7 units of fire service are working under control.
The fire took place on Sunday (May 28) around 12 noon. Shahjahan Sikder, Head (Acting) of Media Branch of Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense informed this information. He said that a fire broke out in the basement of an eight-storey building on road number 10 in Adabar of the capital. A fire service unit reached the spot at 12:18 pm on receiving information.
As the fire is not under control, now 7 units of fire service are working at the spot to extinguish the fire, he said. He said that so far the extent of damage in the fire and no immediate casualties have been reported.
