Information Technology Desk: A Russian court has fined the founder of the online free encyclopedia Wikipedia 800,000 rubles (about 100,000 rupees in Bangladeshi currency) for failing to remove extremist content. The country's Tagansky District Court fined Wikimedia Foundation, the founder of Wikipedia. Russian media have told a court that a song by the rock band Saikia, or Saishit, accused of "extremism" was not removed by Wikimedia. However, Wikimedia has not commented on this yet. Last year, Russia fined Wikipedia heavily for spreading 'misinformation' about the Ukraine war.
