Briefing of Superintendent of Police on the occasion of Sixth Upazila Parishad election in Kurigram

Kurigram representative:  A briefing parade of the Superintendent of Police was held on the occasion of the sixth upazila parishad election in Kurigram. On Monday (May 6) at noon, a briefing parade was held at Chilmari Model Police Station premises on the occasion of the upcoming Sixth Upazila Parishad elections in Chilmari, Roumari and Rajibpur, aiming to complete the 1st phase in a fair, beautiful and impartial manner. 

In the event, Superintendent of Police Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam gave strict instructions to carry out police duties with 100% honesty, impartiality, professionalism, courage and combativeness in the 1st phase of upcoming Sixth Upazila Parishad Election. The Superintendent of Police said that strict departmental measures should be taken in case any policeman behaves dishonestly and unfairly, and instructions for proper legal process to prevent completely fair, fair and impartial voting, fake voting or influencing. He gave necessary instructions to all policemen on proper use, maintenance and storage of raincoats, leggings, helmets, vests, sticks, batons, arms, ammunition. In the briefing parade, the planners of sabotage were also instructed to take action according to the existing law. In addition, the Superintendent of Police discussed in detail the exclusion of policemen in fulfilling their election duties as part of the Election Commission.

Mozammel Haque, Roumari Police Station Officer-in-charge Md. Abdullah Hill Zaman, Rajibpur Police Station Officer-in-charge Md.
