Former President Ershad's 6th death anniversary observed in Dinajpur

Dinajpur Correspondent: Jatiya Party and its affiliated organizations have observed the 6th death anniversary of Jatiya Party founding chairman former President Hussain Mohammad Ershad in Dinajpur through a condolence rally, discussion meeting and prayer mahfil. Today, Monday, July 14, they remembered the late leader of the party in a half-day program.

They took out a condolence rally from the Kalitlasha party office and circled the main roads of the city. During this time, they carried the party's election symbol, the Langan, along with placards and festoons.

Earlier, Quran recitation and prayer mahfil were organized at the party office from the morning to seek forgiveness from Attar. They also distributed food among the bereaved.

Ahmed Shafi Rubel, Vice Chairman of the party's central committee and general secretary of the district committee, was present as the chief guest in the program. Present at the event were District Committee Vice President Saifullah Chowdhury, Joint Secretary Dr. Anwar Hossain, Laisur Rahman Labal, Motaleb, Organizing Secretary Shahinur Islam Shahin, Information and Research Secretary Akhtaruzzaman Tuhin, Municipal Committee General Secretary Shoaib, Youth Solidarity District Committee Convener Nasim Khan Piru, Joint Secretary Azim Uddin Babu, Swechchhasebak Party District Committee Convener Shafique Ahmed, Joint Secretary Azim Uddin Babu, Member Secretary Mir Anisuzzaman Milon, Joint Member Secretary Aslam, Joint Secretary of Chhatra Samaj Central Committee Nihal Ahmed, Raniganj Committee President of Fazilpur Union No. 3 Maqbul and General Secretary of Dainur Committee Azad, along with leaders and activists from different levels.
